Omega showcases new look for Seamaster Aqua Terra dial

The glossy black dials stand in contrast to the usual horizontal ‘teak’ stripe pattern, made to give the nautically inspired Aqua Terra the look of a boat’s wooden deck.

Omega has given the dial of its dressy Seamaster Aqua Terra a smooth new look.

The watch is given lacquer-finished black dials available in three different case sizes.

The glossy black dials stand in contrast to the usual horizontal ‘teak’ stripe pattern, made to give the nautically inspired Aqua Terra the look of a boat’s wooden deck.

The black-dialled model is available in case sizes of either 34mm, 38mm or 41mm.

Each is fitted with Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement – 8800 for the 34mm and 38mm models; Calibre 8900 for the 41 mm model.

Each movement is METAS-certified for precision, performance, and resistance to magnetism.

The in-house movements can be viewed through a sapphire crystal caseback.

There is an integrated bracelet with redesigned rounded links for a comfortable fit.

There are other little distinguishing details, for example the 34mm watch has a round date window, sailboat-shaped indexes, and no minute track.

The 38mm and 41mm models have a trapezoidal date window, triangular indexes, and an outer minute track.

The watches are water-resistant to a fully sea-worth 150m and are covered by Omega’s five-year warranty.
