Casio has unveiled a fresh case design for an all-new Digital Basic GBD500 collection that builds step-tracking into $120 LED, Bluetooth-connected, watches.
The offer is a fashion-forward, always-on digital watch with basic fitness tracking capabilities.
The collection launched earlier this month in the United States and is awaiting the green light in the UK.
The GDB500’s glass fiber-reinforced resin case design is a near cousin to the GBD200 line with a compact profile and octagonal watch face. The collection debuts with a choice of neon green, gray, black or white case and integrated band.
Watches have motion-sensing accelerometers to count steps and can display daily totals and progress against set targets on the wrist or a Bluetooth-connected app.
